O Lord,
We gather in gratitude for the friends and comrades who have gone before us.
They served with courage, lived with honor, and walked beside us as brothers and sisters in arms.
Grant them peaceful rest, free from pain, fear, and burden.
May their memories continue to guide us, inspire us, and remind us of the price of freedom.
Comfort the families and loved ones they leave behind.
Strengthen our hearts as we carry their legacy forward with pride, compassion, and unity.
Though they are no longer at our side, they remain forever in our hearts.
May we honor them not only in ceremony, but in the way we live, serve, and care for one another.
