Rose Marie Achten was a cherished member of our community whose kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit left a lasting mark on all who knew her. Born on March 10, 1948, Rose dedicated her life to helping others, and her commitment to service shone brightly through her volunteer work at VFW Post 7952.
Rose gave her time freely and wholeheartedly. Whether she was supporting events, lending a hand to veterans and their families, or simply offering a warm smile to someone who needed it, she embodied the very best of volunteerism. Her presence brought comfort, joy, and a sense of belonging to our Post.
Though she left us on December 13, 2025, Rose’s legacy continues to live on in the memories she created and the lives she touched. We honor her not only for her service, but for the compassion and humanity she shared so generously.
May her memory be a blessing, and may we continue to reflect the kindness she brought into the world.
